Exquisitely crafted and finished four inch ebony and boxwood chessmen. Each black piece is made from the finest graded ebony wood and is polished multiple times to create a very robust high sheen. The design is unmistakably Staunton but with sweeping concave shanks and elegant wide bases. Each chess piece is significantly weighted with attention to perfect balance in the hand.
